Our Business
Numata BASE’s new project, “Creating the World’s Most Sustainable Brand of Oysters,” is based on “Turning Pallets into Oyster Rafts,” which won the Grand Prize at the “Pallet Award 2019” held in November 2019. By incorporating oyster rafts manufactured using Numata BASE’s know-how on supporting people with disabilities and the processing method of wooden pallets, and parts made of materials that do not emit microplastics into the manufacturing process of oyster farming, we will reduce costs while curbing the environmental impact and creating employment for people with disabilities. In addition, this model was selected for the “Sido Next Innovator 2020” held in August 2020, and is currently being brushed up and moved forward in cooperation with various partners.

[About Numata BASE, LLC.]
Our corporate philosophy is to “make the world more interesting. We are working to eliminate barriers such as age, gender, nationality, disability, hobbies, LGBT, etc., in order to eliminate the “difficulty of living” for all people. As a first step, I chose the social welfare industry where I can support people to live their own lives regardless of their disabilities. We are planning to develop projects to solve depopulation and labor shortage in rural areas. This activity requires a lot of understanding and accomplices. New things are often viewed with criticism and colored glasses, but we are determined to overturn those prejudices and stereotypes.
